Communicate
Jesus ascends to the Father and we hope to follow.
In the meantime we are here as witnesses to proclaim the Good News to all creation.
It is no good just staring at the sky, we are called to communicate God's love by bearing "with one another charitably, in complete selflessness, gentleness and patience."
World Communication Day 2012
The media is an important part of modern evangelisation, many people have questions about religion and it is important to use modern and tradition methods to communicate.

We are asked to pray for those involved in media and support the church's Communication Department with a collection.
The Pope asks us to reflect on; "word and silence: learning to communicate is learning to listen and to contemplate as well as speak."
This Week's Actions

Live Simply:
Take a "Faith Card" from the back of the church carry it with you and use it to help you talk about being a Catholic.
Live Sustainably:
Thinking about the media - consider different ways to re-use newspapers:
- Use them with vinegar to clean windows and mirrors
- Press them into logs for the fire or pots for seedlings
- Use them to "bulk out" heavy soil or compost.
Or simply read newspapers online.
Live in Solidarity:
Today children make their First Communion let's pray for them, their families and all who share the one body that we will live a life worthy of our vocation.
